Award in Real Estate Branch Manager – MQF Level 4 (12ECTS)

Award in Real Estate Consultant  – MQF Level 4 (8 ECTS)

Method of delivery: Face-to-face

Mode of Attendance: Part-time

 

Duration:

Award in Real Estate Branch Manager: 12 weeks (2 sessions per week);

Award in Real Estate Consultant: 8 weeks (2 sessions per week).

 

Target audience: 18+

Target Group: Individuals who want to embark on a real estate career either as a Property Consultant or a Branch Manager as defined in Chapter 615 of the laws of Malta.

 

Languages of instruction: English / Maltese

Sessions are delivered at Dhalia’s Training Centre – 125, St. George’s Road, St. Julian’s.

 

Entry requirements:

A minimum of 3 SEC passes (or their foreign equivalent) in any subject with English Language being one of them;

Or 1 year experience in a full-time Sales / Letting position in the Real Estate Industry

Or 2 years experience in a full-time job.

If an applicant does not hold a Level 3 certificate in English, the applicant must demonstrate fluency in the English language up to C1 level.

Holders of an MQF Level 4 qualification (8ECTS) as approved by the Real Estate Licensing Board may apply to be exempt from certain modules (Modules 1 – 4).

Learning Outcomes of the Award in Real Estate Branch Manager / Award in Real Estate Consultant

The learner will be able to:

  • Be familiar with the various legal facets of real estate, such as the Land Registration Act, Contracts’ Law, GDPR, Anti-Money Laundering, Contract law, Title Verification, and any other real estate-related laws.
  • Understand the financial aspects of real estate, such as VAT concerns, anti-money laundering and counterterrorism funding methods, due diligence protocols, and the use of Know Your Client standards.
  • Recognise the technical aspects of real estate, such as building construction methods, sanitary laws, permit classifications, health and safety concerns, and common construction errors and malpractice.
  • Gain proficiency in leadership, sales strategies, general manners, advertising, and efficient communication.
  • Relate the technical aspects of real estate, such as building construction methods, sanitary laws, permit classifications, health and safety concerns, and common construction errors and malpractice.
